The eugenics society was the society formed to promote the idea of eugenics. Particularly, them right-known were a British Eugenics Society and the American Eugenics Society, though smaller ones were likewise at universities like a Cambridge Eugenics Society. Numerous large population were members one societies, though sustaining a discrediting of the idea of eugenics, virtually all of the two disbanded or even at least shrunk inside size.

Such societies usually worked to lobby for even even eugenic policies or to fund eugenics scientific research or publications. A Human Betterment Foundation in Pasadena, California, for example, distributed materials on compulsory sterilization in a state, with the hope of encouraging more states & countries to adopt similar laws.
